The oldest club in Prague. Music. Theater. Café
‘I Wish I Was The Moon’ presents the latest collection of expressive abstractions, through which the artist invites us to dive deep into dreamlike ‘dreamscapes’ that straddle the boundary between the conscious and subconscious worlds.
Ehret uses a combined technique as a medium to capture an elusive emotional landscape. Her canvases become dynamic records of moments where color and gestures transform into non-places—places that exist only in inner space. The viewer is offered a visual interpretation of feelings, desires, and contemplations that transcend rational comprehension.
The motif of the moon, symbolizing mystery, inner reflection, and female intuition, serves as a metaphorical anchor for the entire collection. The works resonate with a quiet yet intense energy, inviting personal introspection and the discovery of one’s own subjective meaning in the ethereal color fields and strong, spontaneous brushstrokes.
The exhibition I Wish I Was The Moon is thus an invitation to encounter one’s inner, dreamlike self, mediated by the raw beauty of abstraction.
