Simon Kornél and the Boughris is an alternative rock band moving along the

powerful stage presence. Frontman Simon Kornél, a well-known actor and director,
created a performance concept where songs turn into stories and the stage becomes
a living thought process.
The band’s sound merges a grotesque atmosphere with the pulse of contemporary
alternative rock, while their lyrics explore questions of human weakness, power,
faith, and identity.
Their debut album, Fedél nélkül (2024), depicts the world of the outcast with raw
honesty, while their second record, The Confidence of Fools (2025), examines the
relationship between power and ignorance with both irony and lyricism. The
