The British trio – Theresa Jarvis [vocals], Alex Crosby [bass] and George Werbrouck-Edwards [guitar] – fuse pop, punk and hip-hop into a hypnotic hybrid of alternative rock. With a clear purpose and expansive vision, the band delves deep into themes of mental health, empowerment and the “here and now”. After amassing over 150 million streams and gaining widespread acclaim, YONAKA begins the next chapter with the release of their upcoming EP “Welcome To My House”, out now via LAVA/Republic Records.
The sound bends to the whims of emotion. For YONAKU, the music changes with the moods. Distortion pulses with tension in moments of heavy catharsis, only to return in an electronic exhale.

Theresa explains the theme of the EP, “Each song represents a memory or emotion that is inside of me. All the experiences I’ve gone through have spent time inside my house and consumed me. With the EP being called “Welcome To My House”, visually I want listeners to be able to open the door, enter my world and see what each song meant to me at that time in my life.”
“I hope you feel empowered, heard and that you are not alone in listening to anything,” Theresa declares. “Hearing other people’s stories has helped me to heal and grow, and I would love to be that light for others.”
