British alternative rock five-piece returns to the Czech Republic! They will arrive to Prague’s Rock Café on 27 June 2024 with their latest single “Container”.

BOSTON MANOR returns with their new single “Container”. This is the band’s freshest release in 2024 and they return with passion and ambition. Rebellious and determined, “Container” is a little groovy as well as deep and offers the first hints of where their sound will go next: from parallel universes to personal growth, vivid dreamscapes to raw sadness. Singer Henry Cox describes, “Container explores the idea of second chances, the panic that comes when you know you have to change your world before it’s too late, before it consumes you and you’re lost forever. It’s about the stagnation that creeps up on you, and the fact that you are the one who can make the change.”

Working with long-time producer Larry Hibbitt and musical engineer Alex O’Donovan, the band moved from London to the countryside to meet the pastures of the county. “Because Larry now lives in the country, it was a completely different environment and a completely different experience this time,” recalls guitarist Mike Cunniff. There’s a brightness to “Container” that’s a deliberate turn from the darkness of 2022’s “Datura.”

The band, known for using their music to express their views on society, instead looks inward on “Container” and harnesses the uplifting power of their music and the community it creates. “I think it’s really important to write something that people can sink into and find some solace in,” Cox concludes.
