Alice Merton has undoubtedly become known as “the girl with no roots.” The singer’s latest chapter began in 2024 with the release of the album Heron. In this EP, her thoughts turn inward, and instead of searching for home in the outside world, she tries to find it within herself and asks herself the question of all questions: who am I supposed to be and how well do I know myself?

She reflects on her own happiness in a world where we are constantly influenced by other people’s opinions on what happiness is for them, especially through social media. It has become almost impossible to filter out the noise and ask ourselves: “What do we really want from life and how well do we know ourselves? Can we find satisfaction independently, without being bombarded by everyone else’s definitions?”

And now Alice Merton is entering an exciting new chapter. In March 2026, she will embark on a European tour with stops in Munich, Berlin, Prague, Milan, London, Paris, and other cities. This concert series promises not only a journey through all her favorite songs from No Roots to Heron, but also new music.
