Destroy Boys are returning to the Czech Republic after a successful show at Rock for People 2023. The band with their newly released album Funeral Soundtrack #4 will perform on February 15th at Rock Café.
Destroy Boys have been named one of 2024 New Noise Artists To Watch on Spotify and have no intention of slowing down. Punk rock may have been the force that brought Destroy Boys together, but it’s far from the only cornerstone of their existence together. From their first record to the beginnings of their fourth, they continue to write and sing about what they know and drive fans to take notice. The school drama and elitist intrigue they encountered in their teens gave way to the later pain of relationships and the inherent sense of misunderstanding and isolation that is all too common for young people navigating the hybrid of the physical and digital worlds. The band has recently toured with some of pop-punk’s most legendary bands, from Blink-182 to Pierce The Veil.
In 2023, the band toured the US extensively. After lauded shows at Coachella, Destroy Boys returned to the UK and Ireland for Slam Dunk Fest, several headline shows, and then made several trips to Europe for major festivals such as Roskilde, SBAM!, Sziget and Rock for People. Along the way, fans were treated to new singles Beg For The Torture and Shadow (I’m Breaking Down) – which stayed in the Alt Rock Radio charts for over 11 weeks.
2024 was a year of great success for the band. They headlined San Diego’s Peachy Fest, held their own 3rd annual DestroyFest in Los Angeles, and toured Europe this summer, hitting Reading and Leeds festivals. Their highly anticipated fourth album, Funeral Soundtrack #4, was released on August 9th and features the killer track “You Hear Yes”, co-written by Mannequin Pussy and Scowl. And the best of Destroy Boys is yet to come!
