Pictures Of Me

In this body of work, photographers Kiti, Andrei, and Klara examine the pulse of nocturnal city life. Based in Prague but originally from abroad, they bring a unique perspective and a different way of seeing the structures and dynamics of connection among those who try to hide, but perhaps also want to find themselves under the cloak of night. When the street lamps awaken from their slumber, you’re no longer a foreigner in the capital of Bohemia.

With a name loosely inspired by Elliott Smith’s song, Pictures of Me seeks to dissolve the line between raver and DJ, guitarist and fan, between those who observe and those who are being looked at. Merging into a collective body, we create, contribute to, and consume culture; we dance together. We’re all participants—pictures of me, pictures of us.
