Honest mathcore from Atlanta – that’s The Callous Daoboys! They are returning to Prague after two years, this time as headliners – on February 11, they will serve up their typical combination of technical precision with chaotic energy and melodic passages at Rock Café. A must for fans of The Dillinger Escape Plan!

Since their inception in 2016, The Callous Daoboys have been gaining more and more attention thanks to their unbridled energy and completely unpredictable musical style. Their work blends technical precision with chaotic energy, brutal breakdowns intertwine with melodic passages, and alongside guitar riffs, elements of pop, jazz arrangements, and orchestral sounds appear without hesitation. The band has quickly built a reputation as an uncompromising innovator that refuses to adhere to any genre boundaries.

Their last three albums, Die on Mars (2019), Celebrity Therapist (2022), and this year’s I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven, are proof that The Callous Daoboys can transform musical chaos into a thoughtful and cohesive whole. The lyrics often combine sarcasm, social criticism, and surreal images, while the vocals oscillate between explosive screams, spoken word, and clean singing. The band’s music is like an adrenaline rush that forces you to hold on tight because you never know where the next beat will take you.

Live, The Callous Daoboys are literally a hurricane. Their constant movement on stage, interaction with the audience, and unexpected musical twists make them one of the most unpredictable and entertaining bands on the current mathcore scene. Each performance is a unique combination of precise musical technique and raw, unbridled energy that breaks down the barriers between the band and their fans. The Callous Daoboys are simply chaos in its smartest and most entertaining form.
