Coleman Williams, great-grandson of the legendary Hank Williams Sr., continues the family musical tradition – but in his own way. With his band IV and the Strange Band, he blends traditional country roots with a DIY approach, heavy guitars and raw energy. Coleman’s journey hasn’t been easy. He struggled for a long time with the expectations placed on him by his illustrious family history, until he finally found freedom in his own work. The result is music that combines autobiographical stories with historical themes and offers a unique perspective on contemporary Southern music that crosses the boundaries between country and rock.
