Mal Élevé, one of the main driving forces of Irie Révoltés, will come to Prague in autumn with his new album “Amour & Résistance”, which responds to the current state of the world. In it, he denounces racism, sexism, homophobia, but does not shy away from topics such as war, the rise of AFD, police brutality and the overall hopeless atmosphere of today. But as contradictory as the album’s title is: Love and Resistance, it translates negative inspirations into positive messages. That message is primarily one of solidarity and united resistance against evil and injustice.
With its combination of reggae, dancehall, ska, rap and punk, it manages to captivate any audience and deliver a sense of belonging that is so important in today’s world. In addition to hits from his own work, you can also enjoy the music of Irie Révoltés.
