Michael Blackwell (UK) + support

Michael Blackwell will come to Prague again. If you were lucky, you saw him as support of Isaac Anderson in January, but it is time for his headline show now – write down the date 31st October 2023.
Michael Blackwell is a singer-songwriter, multi instrumentalist and producer from Seaham, County Durham, UK. With years of experience under his belt as a touring musician and a songwriter, he is now ready to embark on his own solo journey. Drawing from a range of influences, Blackwell’s sound combines classic singer-songwriter, 90’s grunge, 00’s indie and modern alt-pop.
Learning guitar at a young age, Michael was inspired by his father’s record collection, listening to the likes of Led Zeppelin, The Police and The Beatles. As he grew, he became obsessed with a lot of bands and artists from the 90’s such as Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Soundgarden, Nirvana and Stone Temple Pilots cementing his love for guitar and songwriting.
Following a string of single releases receiving critical acclaim from CLASH magazine, Wonderland magazine and NOTION to name a few, Blackwell announces his debut EP “A Trip Around The Sun”, coming out in October 2023, followed by a run of headline shows in Europe and the UK.
