Marie April, a Czech-American singer and prominent figure on Prague’s alternative scene, invites you to the launch of her new single breakfast sex – an intimate, raw portrait of a toxic relationship in which love is mixed with guilt and habit. The piano and trombone-led composition unravels emotions in a way that is both devastating and cathartic. Marie, known for combining jazz, soul, rock, and indie, follows up her successful album tangerines with music that is even more open and intense.
The second launch of the evening belongs to the melancholic Caramel from Brno, who will present their new single Směj se kde jsi plakala (Laugh Where You Cried) – a balladic duet with Aneta Kalertová about transience, love, and quiet joys. The single and video clip are already available on the band’s YouTube channel.

The evening will be opened by Voita, an alt-pop singer-songwriter with a flair for orchestral arrangements and melodies that can even drown out his own words.

Afterparty
Jay Austin will close the evening, transforming Rock Café into a dance floor with a live performance and DJ set.
