Kispál és a Borz was the most important and most successful alternative rock band in Hungary in the 1990s. The band was formed by three members and was completed with two more members in 1996. This line-up played actively until 2010, when they disbanded. Their first studio album was released in 1991, which were followed by nine other ones until 2004.
The band’s music was characterized by András Kispál’s signature guitar style, as well as Lovasi’s unique singing technique and unusual lyrics which attracted many followers later on. The two of them authored the songs, usually together. In 2014-2016 they are giving thematic concerts showcasing their songs broken down to three periods. In 2016 the songs of the last thee albums released between 2000 and 2010 are brought to stage.
