Prouza is a Czech band, genre-wise between post-punk and alternative pop-rock. The formation of the band is officially dated from 1989, but in fact, with some changes in the name (originally Brumer’s Prouza) and personnel, the band has existed since 1981. Prouza came into wider awareness from the late 1990s, thanks to songs like Na venku, Všechno jen jako, Tady je to místo or Čelem vzad.
Prouza has 4 albums to its credit, collaborations on visuals and TV shows with world-renowned filmmaker David Ondříček and Czech Television, several rarities, singles, countless appearances on music compilations and hundreds of concerts played. The line-up around bassist Bronislav Svoboda and guitarist Vladimír Frank (both from 1981-present) currently consists of singer Tomáš Gavlas (2022-present), drummer Alex Buš (2023-present) and guitarist Radovan Typovský (since 2024).

The Jerusalem group was founded more than 30 years ago. It has been functioning with shorter or longer breaks and this year it got back together after another one to start performing again. It moves on the border between gothic-rock and pop and has been focusing on its own original work since the beginning of its existence. Jerusalem was close to the bands Ocean and Shalom in the early days. A certain affinity continued and culminated at the turn of the millennium with the collaboration of singer Jan Dvořák with Petr Muk. “We wrote the music and lyrics for the album In the Circle when we were all about 23 years old. The album is basically anti-war. Now that we’ve started rehearsing the material again, I realise how little has changed,” Jan Dvořák reflects on the album, adding about the bonus track.

Tyvole is a Prague-Dobrichovice bigbeat band playing Czech songs with Czech lyrics. According to their musical role models, they would like to classify themselves in the genre of “guitar music”. In 2024, Tyvole recorded their first album Na parquetách.
