Understand your own emotions: songwriting discovery from TikTok Myles Smith in Prague for the first time.
“Why’d you get me so high, to leave me so low?” British discovery Myles Smith asks in his viral track Solo. The emotional song has reached millions of people thanks to its popularity on TikTok. With personal lyrics about his own vulnerability, an unmistakable voice and acoustic guitar, Smith needs nothing more than that to bring down a packed club.
After a sold-out US tour, he’s now returning to Europe and coming to Prague for the first time ever.
The Czech concert premiere of Myles Smith will finally take place at the Rock Café due to the extraordinary interest! Thanks to all of you who bought tickets to Café V lese – they remain valid, of course. The sale (490 crowns) to the Rock Café is still on.
He first picked up a guitar at the age of nine and hasn’t let go since. Mostly inspired by folk and pop musicians, he later found a liking for Americana. Nearly a million fans follow him on TikTok and he repays them with regular streams from his home.
His cover version of Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood became so popular that he subsequently released it, and it has racked up nearly twenty million streams on Spotify alone. “River is about a journey to understand my own emotions,” Smith reveals of the title track, which his TikTok fanbase has long known and sung along to at shows.
