From the Eurovision final to Prague. The future of Swedish pop Cornelia Jakobs goes on tour
Newly crowned Swedish Grammy winner Cornelia Jakobs is embarking on her first major European tour. And on January 21, 2024, she will also appear in Prague’s Rock Café club. In addition to the song Hold Me Closer, which scored in the final of last year’s Eurovision Song Contest, she will bring her debut album and her newly formed band, which includes her brother Balthazar. Tickets priced at CZK 440 are on sale now at fource.cz and at GoOut and Ticketmaster.
Jakobs also performed her song together with the most successful participants of the last Eurovision Song Contest (Sam Ryder, Netta) at this year’s gala final evening held in Liverpool, England. “I’m thrilled to finally be going on tour after a long concert hiatus and to be seeing clubs together. I hope you will sing my songs at the top of your lungs with me,” says the Swedish musician and one of the most exciting new voices on the Nordic pop scene.
