A song for every mood, TikTok favourite Casey Lowry in Prague

Indie-pop singer-songwriter Casey Lowry takes the best of a popular genre and updates it for his millions of social media followers. He can respond to any toxic comment and the weirdest sexist video with a witty song. The popularity of the sensitive duet with Walk off the Earth on TikTok was such a success that they released it together as a single despite the label’s initial reluctance.

After this year’s rocketing sell-out show at Café In The Woods, this time the British singer-songwriter will be performing at the Rock Café. Tickets priced at 490 crowns will be on sale from 3 November 2023 at fource.cz and in the GoOut and Ticketmaster networks.

Although his songs are often emotional or even melancholic, his work focuses mostly on positive or uplifting emotions. Originally from Chesterfield, he didn’t really get his music career off the ground until he was in London, and as he says on a lighter note: “Pursuing music was the only option. It was the only thing I could really jump into.” Thanks to his popularity on social media and viral tweets, he has become one of the most talked about pop artists in London. As a result, bands such as Lany, Conor Maynard and Jack & Jack have invited him on their tours.
